This was one of the best pieces I made in my last semester of Ceramics 2. I wish I would have had more time to work on this, it could have been a lot better, but I am still pleased with it. I'm seeing this as a sketch or practice for making real sets.

Cone 6 Gas Reduction. KW White glaze. I'm not sure what those spots are, maybe crystals.

Wonderful handle on the teapot. In addition to looking sleek, it appears very comfy to grasp. The spotted glaze is also nice.

yeah, it is hard. I made 8 and was going to keep 4, but they matched enough, and it looked better to me with 8 on a plate than 4. Ah well.

Hmph, I thought I was going to be all original and say "Ooooo, I likes me the handle" but Rappy AND Cy beat me to it.

But I does like it! I'd buy it. :)

lol, well thanks. It's the thought that counts. Plus, knowing what my artistic friends like about my work will cause me to do more of it. Thus, being a very good thing :D

That was the hardest part to get, because it never looked proportional until I had it just right... and I'm not even sure if it's right now. Ah well, I like it either way too.

Woah. Real nice.

The spots add an attractive feature to the otherwise polar coloring -- especially as seen in the top left view. I really like the handle btw, and the way it tilts -- it completes the "composition" quite nicely.
